Comments: I know there is a certain percentage of the fandom that does not accept this version of Yes, but I am not one of them. I actually really love this lineup. They are willing to shake the set up, and not just play the typical stuff, and this tour is no exception. The first set floored me! I've always loved "Parallels" and the "QPR" arrangement of "Sweet Dreams" (I wonder if Patrick is going to play on it in Philly). While the second set is more typical, there was something really cool about Alan and Tony joining the rest of them on stage. I actually got goose bumps during "Roundabout"! That hasn't happened to me at a Yes concert in a long time.

The band mentioned the rowdy crowd a couple of times, but for once I was lucky, as the rowdiness wasn't anywhere near me. At one point, it seemed that the crowd really distracted Steve during "Leaves Of Green" and he had to take a moment. The recording has minimal audience interference. Sound was crisp and clear where I was sitting. As has been my standard operating mode of late, I made two seperate recordings and used iPhones as the recording devices. This one was done with my old Sound Professional branded AT831's. I've been using these mic's for 13 years now, and they are still going strong. The recording came out very nice.

Notes: Year three of JT-Tanglewood tapings. Warm night for a change. Group behind us wouldn't shut up -

not too noticeable during songs, but you'll hear them in between. I deleted their collective "We Love You James"

for the sake of future listeners. Encore songs are a bit noisier - if you haven't been to Tanglewood, people start

packing up before the show ends. Near the end of Handyman, a small child walking with her mother spotted my Zoom

and asked what it was, to which mom replied, "He's filming." I deleted this brief conversation, resulting

in about three seconds of a "yeah, yeah, yeah" segment being cut, but it's not overly noticable, and certainly

less so than leaving in mom and daughter. JT was much less talkative than last year - dialogue is included at the

end of tracks and not in separate tracks.

I recorded this concert from the front row. Unfortunately, I had two security men in front of me and staff members who came and went. So I had to hold the arm across my chest throughout the concert with my hand holding the microphone behind my shoulders. Unfortunately behind me there were some very annoying guys (not to say worse and not to use vulgarity) who commented and talked throughout the show. Also, on my right, during the second half of the concert, there was a girl talking and, particularly during Pigs, clapping her hand with her many rings on the barrier that separated us from the security men.

The recording of the first half is quite good. During the second part I had to hold the microphone with my left hand in an unfavorable position due to the fact that the security men have come closer. The quality has suffered.

Roger chose this concert to confide to us that he will become father again. So I decided to name the concert with the Italian phrase he gave.

As always... thanks, Roger! Thank you so much for your music and for remembering us TO RESIST! I WILL! And best wishes for the future birth of your new son!

Last but not least, respect the artists, buy their albums, attend their shows and so give your little contribution for keeping the good music alive.
